I Write Legal – What We Do
The court system can be daunting and can make even the most confident person feel a little less than intelligent. At I Write Legal Document Services, we strive to make the court system accessible to everyone by providing quality, affordable legal document preparation under our Legal Document Assistant services. We prepare your legal documents, at your direction, file them with the court, keep you advised of your documents’ status, provide mail service of court documents when appropriate, and provide you with the conformed (file-stamped) copies. We follow your court documents through the court from beginning to end to assure that nothing is missed or left behind. We are registered and bonded (LDA #077, Kern County) as required by law, with over 15 years experience in Family Law.

Statistics
A report from California based on 1991 and 1995 court data found that one party appeared pro se(pro per) in 67 percent of all domestic relations cases and in 40 percent of all child custody cases. One judge characterized the growth of pro se(pro per) litigation in California’s family courts as a “floodtide” that is “overwhelming the courts.”
